The location is beautiful and very conducive to great wine production, being on an ancient glacial riverbed, the soil is sandy loam over gravel. This well drained, mineral rich soil gives great complexity to the wines. Having lots of different grape variaties (8 at the moment) allows a diverse range of wines to be made.
All our tours include a 1hr tour of the vineyards and winery followed by a 3/4hr tasting of the wines with English cheeses.
Tours run from March 1st every Tuesday and the first Saturday of each month at 14:00.
